AIA Detroit is now accepting applications for its inaugural 2017-18 class. All applications and supplemental materials are due no later than 11:59pm on Friday, June 30th. Please see the attached document for a full description of the application requirements.

In 2017, the State Government Network and SpeakUp conferences will be held in different cities. More networking opportunities will be offered. SpeakUp will focus on training new advocates (there's no need to attend SpeakUp more than once). Grassroots features an optional pre-conference day for Capitol Hill visits if desired.

Structural Masonry Special Inspectors Workshop
presented by  Masonry Institute of Michigan

Special Inspection is the monitoring of the materials and workmanship that are critical to the integrity of the building structure. It is a review of the work of the contractors to assure that the approved plans and specifications are being followed and that relevant codes and ordinances are being observed.
