3 New Companies Selected for Venture Class 5
|

We're pleased to announce that three more companies will join the 2017 Venture Class 5 Program.
Oceanus Vi, a student track winner, and
Voxel Rx, a f
aculty/graduate student track winner.
Idle Automation provides self-driving shuttles for university campuses, retirement communities, and resorts where short distance travel is cumbersome or inaccessible.
Oceanus Vi has created a
micro hydroelectric kinetic power system that can convert the mechanical energy of tides into electrical energy through the use of a permanent magnet alternator. This energy can then be stored into a system battery.
Voxel Rx is developing cutting-edge deep learning tools to help better understand neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer's disease. The start-up aims to discover biomarkers for the diagnosis and early detection of dysfunction.
