Marriott announced that customers must give at least 48-hours notice if they plan to cancel a reservation -- or pay a fee equivalent to one night's stay.   Up until June 15, guests were generally allowed to cancel reservations without a penalty up until the day before their visit.  The new rule will also impact guests staying at hotels that are a part of the Starwood network.

The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) launched a new transportation service in partnership with American Airlines to eliminate the need for connecting passengers to be re-screened before boarding international flights. CDA will operate a Terminal Transfer Bus (TTB) service to transport ticketed passengers connecting from American Airlines domestic arrivals in Terminal 3 to international departures at International Terminal 5 via the secure side of the airport.
