When he was 18, a kid named Josiah discovered something in the sanctuary that had been lost so long others had forgotten about it. It was the Scriptures.
Reading it, Josiah then brought the Word of God afresh to his people.
Likewise God tells Jeremiah,
"Do not say, 'I am only a boy'; for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and you shall speak whatever I command you."
March 18 is Youth Sunday.
God's going to speak through young voices.
You should hear it.

Ecumenical Advocacy Days

There is one more youth spot available for the EAD Trip in April (Friday, 4/20 - Monday, 4/23). Fee is $800, Mission Committee scholarship of $500, cost to youth $300. Adults are invited to participate at the full rate.

This year's theme is "A World Uprooted: Responding to Migrants, Refugees and Displaced People." Click the link to learn more. Tom Charles will be presenting a workshop based on Nassau's Refugee Resettlement Project.

Senior High's are reading
Amazing Grace: A Vocabulary of Faith. After 20 years away from Christianity and the Church, Norris finds herself wrestling with a faith she can't leave behind, but that she doesn't understand or even want.
Amazing Grace is her attempt to understand what the church is talking about by defining key words in ways she can relate to. It'll catch you off guard.
Students in Grades 5 and up (all 3rd Floor Church School Classes) are invited to arrive at 9am for bagels, hot chocolate and fruit, before classes begin at 9:15.
March 18 is Youth Sunday! No Church School 'cause we're leading the Church Service!

- March 4: Regular Schedule
- March 11: Middle School Choir will join Cantorei at 5:45pm;
Dinner will start at 6:15pm.
- March 18: "After Youth Sunday - Off Site Event" - Mark's looking for suggestions! Bring your ideas to Fellowship on March 4.
- March 25: Both Choirs rehearse together 5:00-6:15pm;
Joint Fellowship 6:15-8:00pm (Hoagie Haven?)

Choir Notes
Hi Friends,
March is upon us! Here is the choir scoop:
- Youth Sunday, March 18, both Middle School Choir and Cantorei lead ALL music at 9:15 AM and 11 AM services.
- Good Friday, March 30, both Middle School Choir and Cantorei sing at 12 Noon service.
In preparation for these special services, we will have
combined rehearsals:
- Sunday, March 11, 5:45-6:15 PM (Cantorei begins as usual in the choir room at 5 PM, Middle School joins at 5:45 PM in the Sanctuary)
- No Rehearsal on the evening of March 18!
- Sunday, March 25, 5:00 - 6:15 PM both Middle School and Cantorei combined rehearsal.
Thank you for your dedication and leadership in our choir program. You are an amazing bunch, leading us in important, beautiful ways.
