Bio
Marsha has the heart of a teacher. Whether she is working with homeschoolers or adult artists, she loves to share art techniques. As the Program Ch
air for OAG in 2012-2014 she was fortunate to meet many artists from around the state and give pro grams on several topics that she was interested in: zentangles, alcohol inks, and artists cards.

Marsha started as a map draftsman many years ago and went back to school in her thirties to stud
y Visual Arts at OSUIT in Okmulgee, OK. From there she has worked on many projects; from church mura ls, needlepoint canvas design, brochure and tshirt designs to set painting. Watercolor and acrylics are mediums she uses to express her love of color, but she's most proud of her acceptance into OVAC's "24 Works on Paper" that in cluded her drawing from a sketch class. The past few years she has been intere sted in keepi ng sketchbooks and art journals. She has becom e an online clas s junkie, and her favorite is Sketchbookskool. Marsha was also a docent at the Philbrook M useum and is now a Gillie at the Gilcrease Museum.

Sketch Meet-up

Join us at the Myriad Gardens Saturday June 17th 6:00-9:00pm. We will meet at the big red sculpture. Ellen Etzler will give a brief introduction to art journaling, and then we'll head out into the gardens to sketch singly or in groups as you wish. We'll reconvene a couple of hours later to share our sketches. Our new OAG sketchbooks will be available for purchase.
