MAGLEV Report Released

Dear Friends,

I wanted to share this report which was recently published by the MAGLEV officials.  MAGLVE is a proposed high speed magnetic train from Baltimore to Washington, D.C. with only one station stop planned at the BWI airport. You will note that the report states the public comment period was closed in January of 2017 but that they are still considering public input for the future.

I urge you to take a moment to look over the report and if you have not yet done so, share your comments on the public input link below as three of the proposed future routes travel through or near Bowie, and if chosen, will likely impact much of our community.

In addition, the MAGLEV officials are scheduled to make a presentation to the Bowie City Council on July 10th at Bowie City Hall at 8 p.m.   I urge you to attend and learn about this issue.
