Good Morning Tea Friends,

Looking for something great to do this weekend?  Check out the Ag & Art Tour up our way.

This picture is from the tea room's friend Christy Buchanan's She Garden at the Painted Picket in Winnesboro ( 1450 Newberry Road).  She is hosting 9 amazing artists in the gardens this weekend for your pleasure!  She will have a Blacksmith, painted clothing, fiber jeweler, goat milk soap, The Chicken Man, gourds, organic dog treats and much more.  Plus her own art is everywhere on the property...and I have no words to describe her work.  The big painted table in the tea room is hers and so is the No Drama Zone sign that hangs above me at the register....but those aren't all she does, you have to see it to believe it!  Her hours this weekend are Saturday 10 to 5, and Sunday 1 to 6.  Tonight she is having a Art and no Ag Party, from 7 to 9, if you would like to have a fun preview of what is to come.

Another one we know well is The Barclay School in Ridgeway...our favorite kids and teachers ever!  A must stop is The Fairfield County Museum in Winnesboro, one of the best anywhere!

While in our beautiful area this weekend stop in and see what we are doing....and why I have been so quiet all week....we have made some major changes in the gift shop, and I know you are going to love them!  Can't wait to see what you all have to say about them!  We have brought your favorite gourmet back for one thing.  Dips, Sallie's Greatest Jams, local honey, Moravian Cookies and new iced teas.

The other shops in Ridgeway have some great things going on this weekend also....Ruff Furniture has "Home Grown" Furniture from South Carolina, Palmer Street Market has wonderful local artist and more, Antiques and Oddities, Over the Top Boutique and Cotton Yard Market are always a great stop.....and the tea room of course has The Art of Tea!
