Dean's List Fellas hanging out and making a difference.  Join us Tuesday, July 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall The Dean's List. This is a men's group that meets on the third Tuesday of every month with absolutely NO agenda other than gathering for good food and good conversation. Here's how it works. You bring a meat of choice (steak, fish chicken, etc.) and a beverage of choice (leaded or unleaded).  We provide a salad, bread, and baked potato.  We ask that you bring a suggested donation of $10 which helps offset costs BUT also helps raise money for important mission projects.  So, please join us, hang out and make a difference.

NEEDS
Backpacks and School Supplies Needed!  Springboard To Opportunities is a nonprofit organization that connects families living in federally subsidized affordable housing with resources and programs to help them advance in school, work, and life.  Last year, we collected backpacks and school supplies for the students who live in Northwood Village Apartments in Northwest Jackson and they are needing our help again this year! Our hope is to collect enough backpacks and school supplies including notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, and other basic needs to provide for 115 students. Donations can be dropped off at the front desk and will be accepted through July 23. For information contact Sarah Stripp at  [email protected]
Volunteers Needed - The McClean Fletcher Center
Do you love children?  Looking for a place to volunteer and help kids? The McClean Fletcher Center needs you! The McClean Fletcher Center is a division of Hospice Ministries and provides grief support groups for children ages 4-18 who have experienced the death of a loved one. No experience necessary but a training is required. The training will be held July 29th & 30th. You must be available to attend both training days and then volunteer 5 hours a month from August to May.  For more information please contact the McClean Fletcher Center at 601-206-5525.

EfM (Education for Ministry)  is a four year course offered through Sewanee, offering participants an opportunity to discover how to respond to the call to Christian service through in-depth study and reflection.  St. Andrew's Cathedral currently has two EfM groups - the morning group is full, but there are spaces available in the evening group that meets on Sundays from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in St. Francis Hall.  For more information concerning this group, please contact Elizabeth Bush, group mentor, 6 01-874-0651 .
