Community Conversations

Last Thursday, more than one hundred community leaders convened to discuss preliminary findings from the United Way 2017 Community Needs Assessment and engage in conversation surrounding our most pressing needs. This was the first of a series of conversations that will be offered throughout the county. More info will be released soon listing the details of the subsequent conversations.

Check out Lebanon Daily News coverage of our community conversation  here.

Teaching Preschool Kids Life Skills

Summer Camps have started at the Y and the Preschoolers had a great first week with our Kids in the Kitchen Camp.  They enjoyed learning about kitchen safety, basic cooking techniques and nutrition.  We made a different recipe each day and the children enjoyed tasting what they made.  If your preschooler loves to cook, we will be offering another cooking camp, July 24-28.  We have many other fun themes during the month of June and July too, so check us out on our website here.
