GRADUATION DINNER
In honor of their upcoming graduation, the seniors enjoyed a beautiful graduation dinner on May 17th. Mothers and grandmothers of the graduating class were invited to this special event. The girls were privileged to hear remarks from one of their beloved teachers, Mrs. Rabenstein, as well as from Mrs. Gold, mother of one of the graduates. Two of the graduates, Henny Lerner and Esther Weiss spoke as well. The evening closed with a beautiful song presentation by the seniors dedicated to their mothers.
SENIOR TRIP
On June 6th, the seniors enjoyed a full day trip to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia in honor of their upcoming graduation. The girls had a wonderful time going around the beautiful amusement park, which included countless roller coasters and other fun rides, and even a small zoo! After spending the afternoon at the amusement park, they went to a nearby park for a scrumptious BBQ supper. Everyone had an incredibly enjoyable time thanks to the tireless student efforts under the leadership of Mrs. Rabenstein.
G.O. CLOSING ACTIVITY
On Monday, May 29th, the High School had its G.O. Closing Activity. They served a delicious breakfast of  bagels, orange juice, and cake. The girls played an enjoyable game, and then they were treated to an amazing video that included highlights of all of the wonderful activities that G.O. organized this year. The 8th grade was also privileged to join this activity as they were warmly and excitedly welcomed to the high school.
ANNUAL DEBATE
Debate this year was a year-long curriculum. The girls focused on how to research a topic focusing on how to do appropriate and sophisticated research involving newspapers, journals, encyclopedias, and various primary sources. They learned how to build a strong argument by debating both sides of an argument and recognize fallacies in the opposing teams argument. The girls also became more proficient in their public speaking skills and rhetoric.

This year's debate was presented in front of teachers and students who were astounded by the debaters profound knowledge of history, current events, politics, world culture, statistics and the brilliant and sophisticated way they argued. Everyone loved the sharp POIs - points of interest- where girls sharply- but politely - ask to interrupt the opposing teams' speech.   The debaters kept their schoolmates spellbound for close to two and half hours.

Many students who watched the debate said the debate really educated them and that it opened their eyes to the other side of the argument. We are so incredibly proud of these thirteen girls!
