Members of Winton Country Club along with their guests are cordially invited to participate in this year's annual Member-Guest Tournament on June 23-25th, 2017. Our format will be 36 holes of Best Ball over 2 days. We will have flights based on the number of participants. Men as well as women are encouraged to participate. If you are a member and would like to play but don't have a guest, please let us know and we may be able to help you.
Friday the 23rd practice rounds will be available all day with a Par 3 contest starting at 4 PM. Friday night we will have a cookout available to all participants at 6:00 PM. There will be a special event after the cookout.
Saturday tee times will be available starting at 8 AM and players can choose their playing partners. Tee times will be available until 10 AM. If a team needs to play outside of these times arrangements can be made. Please contact the Pro Shop if you need special arrangements made. Saturday's scores will be used to flight teams. Saturday night we will be having dinner at The Tavern. We will have a DJ playing music.
Sunday's pairings will be done by flight and score. After the round, we will give away prizes in The Tavern.
Please join us for three incredible days of golf, food and fun. We are looking forward to your participation. Please sign up in the Pro Shop or send us the bottom of this invitation.

~ SUMMER YOGA ~
Summer registration
is beginner level or intermediate level.
Our beginner yogis have gained strength and flexibility over the past year, as well as confidence and a sense of positive self. Stress was diminished. Many of our middle aged or more advanced age yogis practice inversions (upside down). While headstand is not included in beginner classes, we learn to overcome fear and doubt, with amazing results. Summer beginner or intermediate yoga begins this week and goes through the summer. Contact [email protected] to register.

Lynchburg, Virginia - June 21, 2017- Kevin M. Gill has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Lynchburg Commercial Team Leader. This leadership role has responsibility for managing and leading the bank's Commercial and Construction Loan Officers located in the Region 2000 area.
A twenty-eight year commercial banking veteran, Mr. Gill holds a MBA from the College of William and Mary and a BS degree in political science from James Madison University. He is a past board member of Girls on the Run of Central Virginia and Virginia School of the Arts.

- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Men must have registered with Selective Service, except those born from March 29, 1957 - Dec. 31, 1959
- Must not be a member of law enforcement occupation as defined by Selective Service policy (example: police officer or judge)

Amherst County Board of Supervisors Meetings ~ 2017
Meetings are regularly held on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
The first Tuesday meeting convenes at 1:00 pm. The third Tuesday month meeting convenes at 7:00 pm. All meetings of the county Board of Supervisors are held in the County Administrators Building at Second and Washington Streets unless otherwise noted.
Board of Supervisors Inclement Weather Policy:
If a Board of Supervisors meeting is cancelled due to inclement weather, the meeting will be held on the following Monday, unless a holiday, in which case the meeting would be held on the following Tuesday. Pursuant to Virginia Code 15.2-1416, all hearings and other matters previously advertised shall be conducted at the continued meeting and no further advertisement is required.
