New Changes on July 1, 2017

On July 1, 2017, the City of Los Angeles minimum wage rate will increase for all Employees and penalties for the Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance will begin. Employers with 25 or fewer Employees must also provide Sick Time Benefits.

Employers with 26 or more Employees

 
Minimum Wage Rate: $12.00/hour
 
Sick Time Benefits as of July 1, 2016

Employers with 25 or fewer Employees

 
Minimum Wage Rate: $10.50/hour
 
Sick Time Benefits as of July 1, 2017
Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance :Starting January 22, 2017, Employers with ten (10) or more Employees can NOT inquire into a job Applicant's Criminal History unless and until a Conditional Offer of Employment has been made to the Applicant.
