Powder Room Trends and Impactful Designs
T he term "powder room" has been around for quite some time.  Specifically, it emerged in the 18th century as a name to call a "closet sized room where people applied extra powder to their wigs." The name stuck because later on it was used to describe the place where women would go to "powder their nose."

Today, there are many names for it including powder room, half-bath, guest bathroom and washroom.  It is known to have only a toilet, a sink, and a little bit of storage room. Although the room tends to be small, it often can have a large impact on your guests' perception of your entire home.

We are here to help you make a great impression by supplying you with popular powder room trends that will welcome and awe your guests.

Neutral tones in the light fixtures and the backsplash fit in with the natural setting of the lake where the home is built. The champagne and gray colors drawn from the outside, complement the interior, making it an inviting place for guests!

This style boasts of a perfect marriage of light and dark. The walls incorporate a true earthy pallet through utilizing real wood paneling to add texture, while the light fixture compliments the design element of the decorative mirror.
