The Bike Rally Top 10 List of things to do!
Wit h just over three weeks before Departure Days - 23 days to be exact - we present our Top 10 list of Things To Do as we gear up for our big adventure:

10.  Go to your local dollar store and buy extra-large zip lock bags for packing your clothes.

9. Put up your tent - make sure you have all the pieces....and best to waterproof it just in case.

8. Know how you're making a difference - read the "What We do" section of the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation website.

7.  If you're a Rider - make an appointment for a bike tune-up at Cycle Solutions on Parliament Street (a Bike Rally supporter) or your local bike shop.

6.  If you're Crew - get your costumes and noise makers and start downloading your music play list.

5.  Read the Bike Rally Packing List (for the 1-Day Ride and for the 6-Day Ride) for some ideas of what to bring with you on your Bike Rally adventure.

4.  Start a "Bike Rally Packing Pile" in a corner of your home. Keep everything together in that corner as you collect it.  You'll save time and head aches and you won't have to look for things the day before Packing Day.

3.  Start putting your costumes and decorations together - read the Bike Rally 2017 Event Handbook for theme days and evening activities.

2.  If you're a Rider - make sure you can ride at least 100km, and do it two days in a row if you're doing the 6-Day Ride.

1. KEEP ON FUNDRAISING!!!  We know you're pulling out all the stops to raise more dollars for PWA, but we need you to keep going - PWA clients are counting on
Put the "FUN" in Fundraising
Set a weekly fundraising goal
Instead of focusing on your total fundraising goal, set smaller weekly fundraising goals. You'll be amazed at how much more easier it is to raise funds when you're focused on a smaller amount!
