The Book of Ruth Video Series

Ladies, RightNow Media has a wonderful video series entitled "The Book of Ruth" with Biblical teaching from Bianca Juarez Olthoff that brims with hope because God works in unexpected ways. God can seem distant when dreams fade, people die, or careers fail. No one knows the feeling of abandonment more than Ruth and Naomi. Their story begins with the worst but doesn't end with despair.

RightNow Media offers free access to the biggest video Bible study library in the world and is available for free download from the Belin website or sign up here -

Want to help in the garden? Just c'mon out to the Family Life Center gardens any Wednesday morning at 9 AM - all are welcome!

ELP Scholarship Foundation
"When You Get Where You're Going, Where Will You Be?" the book written by the Rev. Herbert T. Penry, Jr. (father of the Rev. Clyde Penry), will be available to pick up in the church office sometime next week.

Donations collected will be given to the Ernestine L. Penry (ELP) Scholarship Foundation which provides financial support to deserving men and women called to pursue a vocation in the ministry of Jesus Christ, regardless of denomination.

2018 BOI T-Shirt Design
Blessing of the Inlet T-Shirt designs, concepts, pictures, and ideas are needed for next year's Blessing of the Inlet t-shirt. You do NOT have to be an artist to make a contribution! We have a graphic artist who will help create the final design.

The theme for 2018 is "Love God - Love Others" based off of Ephesians 4:32 which says "and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you."

Please send your submissions to
[email protected] or to Austin Bond by October 1, 2017. The Blessing of the Inlet Committee will review all ideas and select one for next year's t-shirt. Be creative! Let's hear from you!
