City hosts 4th of July fun
A great time was had by all during the 4th of July celebrations in Burleson this past Tuesday. The day started off with the Burleson Lions Club's 13th annual Independence Day Parade that honored Purple Heart Veterans. View parade photos.
That night, the city hosted a free concert and fireworks show at Chisenhall Fields. Trio Grande, a ZZ Top cover band, got the crowd rocking until the sky lit up with fireworks. View event photos.
Hot Sounds of Summer Concert Series comes to an end

al Hot Sounds of Summer concert for 2017 wrapped up Friday night with Fin City, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band.
We would like to thank everyone who attended this year's concerts and we look forward to seeing you in 2018.
It's summer and that means we will all be spending more time outside. It is very important that we make sure our sidewalks are clear of trash, toys and parked cars to make sure everyone can access them without having to walk in the street.
July is 'Watch Your Car' Month
The Texas Department of Public Safety reports indicate that more motor vehicle thefts and burglaries are committed in July than in any other month.
