Mound, Minnetrista Tree Sale Begins July 10
For the first time, Tree Trust will be facilitating a tree sale and distribution in Mound and Minnetrista. Residents of Mound and Minnetrista will be able to purchase up to two trees per property.  Trees will cost just $30, thanks to underwriting received by Tree Trust from the Cynthia Krieg Stewardship Grant provided by the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. 

Trees can be purchased online or by mail starting July 10. The sale will be open between July 10 and September 1. Trees will be available for pick-up in the fall. Learn more here or request more information through this short form.  


Tree Trust in Your Community
In our last newsletter, we told you about the nearly 350 Tree Trust youth and young adults who started their summer jobs in the Twin Cities in June. 240 of these youth are completing outdoor construction projects in parks and recreation areas in Hennepin, Dakota, and Washington counties.

Floating Boardwalk at Westwood Hills
The floating boardwalk at Westwood Hills Nature Center in St. Louis Park completes the 1.5 mile walking trail around Westwood Lake. In the summer of 1977, Tree Trust youth built the original floating boardwalk on this site as one of our very first community improvement projects!


Today, Tree Trust youth are out at Westwood Hills once again, installing a new floating boardwalk. Tree Trust is grateful for more than 40 years of partnership with The City of St. Louis Park and Westwood Hills. Once finished, the trail looping around the lake will again be complete and open for the public to enjoy!
