Metrobus Saturday Service
Saturday Metrobus service is coming to Paradise!

Beginning July 8 Route 30 will make return trips to Paradise each Saturday. This additional day of service will provide residents an easy way to get around on the weekend.

Route 30 will continue to operate weekdays during peak hours between the Paradise Double Ice Complex and the Avalon Mall in St. John's. For full route information, visit the  Metrobus website or call 722-9400.
Road Work Underway
The Town of Paradise is advising residents of upcoming street upgrades and paving operations for the following areas:
- St. Thomas Line
- Lanark Drive to Ridgewood Drive (start July 6, 2017)
- Topsail Pond Road, various sections (start July 6, 2017)
- Maple Drive (start week of July 10)
- St. Thomas Line, civic 271 to Seascape Drive ( start week    of July 10) 


Road work is also taking place on the Karwood Drive and Topsail Road intersection. The work includes curb, gutter and sidewalk realignment, installation of traffic light sensors installation, and pole realignment at the intersection.


During the road work, efforts will be made to minimize impact on traffic flow, however residents can expect traffic delays in the areas. The public is reminded to use caution in areas. For information, visit our website.
SunSplash Sponsorship
Plans are well underway for the 2017 SunSplash Paddle-in-Paradise Festival and there are sponsorship opportunities available for any interested businesses and organizations. 

Set for August 16 to 27, the event features many community activities such as family fun days, family Bingo, outdoor movie, sporting events, outdoor concert, the annual Dragon Boat Festival and more.

Special Public Council Meeting
The Town of Paradise is advising of a special public meeting of council on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 6 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to adopt the 2016-2026 Town of Paradise Municipal Plan & Development Regulations to facilitate scheduling a public hearing on the plan. The meeting will be held in Paradise Town Hall, 28 McNamara Drive.
July 10 Closures
Paradise Town Hall is closed on Monday, July 10 for the Organemen's Day Holiday.

The Paradise Double Ice Complex (including the Body Quest Fitness Centre) and the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre are open for regular programming. 

There is no change to garbage and recycling collection.

Clean-up Kits
Want to help us keep Paradise in tip top shape?

The Town is now providing Community Clean-up Packages to residents, groups, and businesses looking to organize their own cleanup day.

Each Clean-up Package comes with: five sets of gloves, six garbage bags and one recycling bag.
To pick up your package, please email us with the location of your planned cleanup, and let us know if an additional Town garbage collection is required following your cleanup.
Garbage Box Reminder
The Town is collecting garbage boxes not removed from the front property lines. Garbage boxes not removed from in front of property building lines will be considered left for disposal and the Town will collect them.
