Dear Chamber Traveler,
We are pleased to announce the destination for the 2017 McPherson Chamber of Commerce Men's Traveling Ambassador Trip is Chicago. We will depart by bus from the Peoples Bank parking lot at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, September 27th for the Wichita Eisenhower National Airport for a 6:00 a.m. flight! We will stay in the downtown Chicago area with a view of the river and plenty of restaurants and nightlife spots within walking distance . A Step On Tour Guide will meet us Wednesday morning for a city tour and that afternoon we will tour Wrigley Field. Wednesday evening, we will have our annual banquet which is included in the price of the trip. The banquet will provide an opportunity for networking with fellow Traveling Ambassadors.
Thursday and Friday will be full days of tours including a river cruise and Professional Operator Tour of the Museum of Science + Industry which holds the U-505 WWII submarine! Other tours are in the final stages of scheduling as well.
Saturday will be a free day to explore the city. The Cubs have an afternoon game for those interested in attending it.
We will be leaving the hotel early Sunday morning and returning to McPherson mid-afternoon October 1st.
The total cost of this fantastic trip is only $1,200 per traveler (based on double occupancy). There are only 34 tickets available so make your reservation and trip payment as soon as possible!
A $300 trip deposit is due by July 28th.
