Cast Your Vote for the  Tricia Davis 5K Walk/Run for Sinai House  "Photo Finish" Award!
The weather was gorgeous on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14th as more than 370 registrants (including dogs!) and more than 300 donors and sponsors supported the Third Annual Tricia Davis 5K Walk/Run. Nearly $100,000 was raised for Sinai House, which surpasses last year's event by nearly $20,000! Proceeds from this event will directly benefit Sinai House in its mission to enable families to move from homelessness to independence by providing safe and affordable housing, comprehensive social services, and financial support. The additional funds raised this year will support several new initiatives in our strategic plan including increasing services to our alumni, enhanced job placement resources and assisting our residents in locating and securing affordable housing when they graduate from our program.

Theater J Afternoon Out: BROKEN GLASS
Sunday, June 25 at 2 PM
Join Temple Sinai friends at Theater J for the matinee performance of Arthur Miller's BROKEN GLASS, directed by the highly acclaimed Aaron Posner. Sylvia Gellburg has suddenly, mysteriously, become paralyzed from the waist down, and her husband, a self-denying Jew, can't figure out why. Set in Brooklyn throughout the rampage of Kristallnacht in 1938, this riveting, psychological drama demands we confront our fears, our assumptions, and our anguish. Miller balances private and public morality in an astonishing and electrifying play about being American, being married, and coming to terms with one's own identity. Use the code SINAI for a 20% discount. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling the box office at 202-777-3210.
