"Rita has a warm smile and a kind heart. Last year, she renewed her wedding vows with husband, Tim, at the community dressed in her original wedding dress, so residents could celebrate with them. We are so fortunate to have her as part of our family," said Melissa Trejo, Life Enrichment Manager.
Rita is part of a caring team of dedicated and skilled nurses, who are integral to Pathway's unique approach to living for older adults.

Intergenerational Relationships are a Win-Win

Rupley Elementary School fifth graders shared lunch and their musical talents with residents before playing games and enjoying some one-on-one time. The visit was so fun because each generation knows cool stuff that the other one doesn't!

After enjoying lunch at
Salutos in Gurnee, a restaurant patron generously picked up the nearly $200 bill for a table of
Travanse Living at Grayslake residents. The woman said that she was touched and inspired by the
vibrant and
happy group of older adults out and about.
