Sherri Shepherd Announced as a Featured Speaker at 2017 NABA Convention & Expo

Greenbelt, MD, May 31 , 2017  -   The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) is proud to announce Daytime Emmy winner, actress, comedienne and best-selling author Sherri Shepherd as Host and Mistress of Ceremonies for the Annual Awards Dinner & Gala at the 2017 NABA National Convention & Expo, to beheld June 6-10, 2017 in New Orleans, LA at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. 

Whether on stage or screen, Sherri Shepherd's magnetic personality and hilarious sense of humor never fails to delight audiences.  Shepherd currently co-stars in new NBC sitcom "Trial and Error." She also serves as a weekly host of "The Tom Joyner Morning Show" and as executive producer and host of the cooking series "Holy & Hungry." She has also made recent guest appearances on "The Soul Man," with Niecy Nash, and "Rosewood," starring Morris Chestnut.

No stranger to daytime TV, her role as co-host of "The View" during seasons 11-17 helped earn the seminal talk show its only Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host in 2009. That same year, she and her co-hosts were included in the list of the "100 Most Influential People in the World" by Time magazine, and Forbes ranked the show's hosts No. 11 among the top "30 of the Most Influential Women in Media." Shepherd returned to "The View" as a contributor for Season 19.
