For anyone running on the typical school calendar whether kid, parent or because of your career, summer has a different tone. Most seasons do, but summer is a little different. School is out and the weather is welcoming for the outdoors. Schedules change. Vacations are gone on. Pools are open. Kids get bored and need something to do. Sports leagues and camps are running. Some programs take breaks, others start. Different people are seen on a regular basis.

It goes by fast. In the midst of everything that changes and takes place in the summer, do those changes change who we are and how we live as well? Or are we the same person throughout the year regardless of who we hang out with and where we spend our time? Is God forgotten?
