This course provides an overview of the various types of memory impairments so care providers can deliver special emphasis on the management of the motor and non-motor symptoms caused by impairments and how to provide quality care to these individuals.
At the end of the course, attendees will be equipped with the necessary skills to care for an individuals with memory impairments and know;

2.Types and differences of memory impairments/dementia
3.Understand the characteristics of dementia
4.Probable causes of impairments and their physical and psychological impact on the memory-impaired person
5.How information moves within the normal brain and differences within the memory-impaired brain
6.Understand the sensory impact of memory impairments and basic techniques for dealing with them
