A Messianic Passover.

Jesus used the rituals of the Passover meal to explain the deep meaning of the new covenant by revealing his sacrificial role as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. On Wednesday, March 28, Carmel will host 480 people for a retelling of the story of Passover, revisiting the bitterness of oppression and the sweetness of God's deliverance.

Wednesday - March 14
  • With our NEW  Midweek format, ALL adults not serving in other ministry areas will gather in the Worship Center at 6:30pm for Abiding in Times of Crisis. 
  • Wendy Skendari - a member of the Carmel family and professional Christian counselor - will discuss tragedy and guide a discussion on how to stay strong in Christ during times of crisis (as well as good times!).  
  • Preschool, CarmelKidz and Carmel Students gather as usual. 
Friday - March 16

Please pray for the 59 students and 21 adult volunteers leaving today for Survivor 8th Grade retreat - a weekend focused on preparing the hearts and minds of 8th Graders for the shift to High School. 
Saturday - March 17
Now THIS is a way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Join the Roots Discipleship Community from 12:00 - 3:00pm as they build relationships and live the Gospel while serving lunch and playing board games with clients of local ministry partner The Dove's Nest. Sunday - March 18

Every Thursday morning from 11:30am - 12:30pm (temporarily meeting in Uptown Auditorium through March 29).
 
Monthly Evening Gatherings
Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening from 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the Prayer Room.
Host a Sports Camp...in Ukraine!  
Families, singles and all ages will continue to build relationships and minister to the community through sports camps and other outreach opportunities with our local ministry partner in Irpin.

Share the Gospel...in Albania!  
Work with our local church partner to share the Gospel in the capitol city with nonbelievers, as well as minister to the church body through sports camps and other outreach connected to a local orphanage. Good candidates for this team would include folks who have a heart for encouraging, loving, and serving children and adults in Albania with the love of Christ. Details here. 
Counseling Center Ministry
The Carmel Counseling Center is an additional resource to help individuals, couples, and families find hope and meaning as they walk through difficult seasons of life. All counselors practice from a Biblical perspective and are licensed by the state of North Carollna. Click here to learn more. 
Make a Joyful Noise! 
All (high school age and up) are welcome to be a part of the Resurrection Choir to help lead worship on Sunday, April 1. Join us for the required rehearsals on Wednesday, March 21 and Wednesday, March 28 at 6:15pm in the choir room. Questions? Email [email protected].

Throughout March our Gathering Space collection bins are dedicated to collecting for local ministry partner Beds for Kids - who  provides beds and essential  furniture to children and their  families in need.

Not in a Sunday morning Discipleship Community (DC)? Plug into WEE Connect - a DC for parents of preschoolers. Come build relationships with other preschool parents and learn more about God's plan for successful parenting. Join Carmel Executive Pastor (who's preschoolers are now grown) Sundays at 11:00am in Room D101.
