Fired Up, Ready To Go!

Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr., Lady Tiffany E. Grant King, and the Memorial Tabernacle Family welcome you to our worship services.  We invite you to become a part of a growing ministry that is "reaching to teach, teaching to change" one person and one block at a time.   We pray you will enjoy the service and worship again with us.

Our Mission...
The Memorial Tabernacle Church has come together by the Holy Spirit for the specific purpose of preaching and teaching the word of God, (the Bible), and about Jesus Christ, God's son, and to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the North Oakland Community and its environs; to bring healing to the brokenhearted and deliverance to the oppressed.
Summer Rains!
A Special Invitation from Pastor

Beginning this Sunday, and every Sunday thereafter until the end of September, come expecting a revival.

Yes, every Sunday is "Revival Sunday" at Memorial Tabernacle Church. Invite and bring those who need to hear about Jesus, friends and family, the sick, and anyone in need of a spiritual refreshing and deliverance to our services at 10:30 A.M.

Hear the anointed preached Word delivered by our Pastor, pastoral staff, and guests speakers throughout the summer. God is doing a "new thing" at MTC.  We are believing God for one hundred souls coming to Christ.

Join us each Sunday during the Summer Rains!
Notes From Sunday's Sermon
"THY WILL BE DONE!" ( Luke 22:17-21; 39-43

My sisters and brothers, you and I must realize that, yes, sometimes you may need someone to cry with you, but Gethsemane is not that time. When you're at the point of feeling like you're ready to give up on the will of God, you need somebody who can help you to go through your trials and test! You need somebody who realizes that there is a divine plan for your life. Yes, they may let you cry for a moment, but they will also tell you it's time to get up and dry your eyes because there is work to be done unto the glory of God! You don't need somebody who is going to get sucked into your storm. You need somebody who can help you rise again, because your destiny is precious!

Who is that somebody? It's who lifted up Jesus. It wasn't the disciples. One version of this text says the disciples fell asleep, took a nap. Then we know Peter denied him. We don't know where some of the others went. The cup of Jesus requires God the Father to give you strength and keep you from falling or to pick you up if you do fall. The cup of Jesus is a new covenant, a new promise. It is a God moment! Yes, we need family. Yes, we need friends to help us make this journey, but your cup is His cup.

Ever had a God moment? Mama couldn't help you. Daddy couldn't help you. Your money didn't help you. It was a God-only moment! -- USK

Because of Christ,
Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr.
