Intentional Witness
Pastor Ulysses Stephen King, Jr., Lady Tiffany E. Grant King, and the Memorial Tabernacle Family welcome you to our worship services. We invite you to become a part of a growing ministry that is "reaching to teach, teaching to change" one person and one block at a time. We pray you will enjoy the service and worship again with us.
Our Mission...
The Memorial Tabernacle Church has come together by the Holy Spirit for the specific purpose of preaching and teaching the word of God, (the Bible), and about Jesus Christ, God's son, and to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the North Oakland Community and its environs; to bring healing to the brokenhearted and deliverance to the oppressed.

Notes On Sunday's Sermon
"BEHOLD! IT'S A NEW THING!" (Isaiah 43:16-21)
The present doesn't always look very good or promising sometimes. The verse says, "I am about to do a new thing. NOW, it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" The key word here is NOW. Now denotes: at the moment, at this time, immediately, right away.
However, when the Lord speaks to us about the NOW, we often miss it because we don't understand it, don't expect it, and can't perceive it. When the Israelites found themselves in the desert with no water, the Lord responded by "making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." He did it right on the spot for them. When they were thirsty, He provided water. When they were hungry, He provided manna from heaven. When they couldn't see at night, He led them with a fiery spotlight. Because He was their Jehovah Jireh; He was their Provider.
Sometimes we don't see the new thing because we have forgotten that the Lord has made a way out of no way. The Lord will do the impossible. The Lord has already done the impossible and is ready to deliver our next miracle. But, that can't happen if we don't live in the present!

Sing Unto The Lord
Wednesday, June 21, 6:30PM
Have you ever had an interest in singing in the choir or praise team? Come and be a part of our rehearsal. Use your giftings to praise our Lord. Singing plays such a significant role in the Christian life.
As Pastor preached Sunday, the time is NOW. When you sing, you are spiritually strengthened for trial. Often times, we think only of singing when we're happy and times are good, but singing bringing strength for trial co mes out in Acts 16. Paul and Silas are unjustly imprisoned for the sake of the Gospel, and what do they do while they're in prison? Sing! (Acts 16:25) So attend rehearsal Wednesday at 6:30PM. All are welcome!
