Honor the Memory of Leslie Schultz

March 25, 10-11 am
Schultz-Rosenberg Campus
Akiba Academy, Pollman Hall, 12324 Merit Drive

Following shiva, the primary [seven-day] mourning period, there is a secondary period of mourning called shloshim. This 30-day period eases the mourner back into normal routines by allowing the resumption of many but not all of one's regular patterns of social behavior. At the conclusion of the 30 days, a shloshim commemoration is often held, at which time various Jewish texts are taught in memory of the deceased.

We can think of no greater way to honor the memory of Leslie Schultz, of blessed memory, than to convene her beloved community to learn together across all denominational lines. Of the many organizations and institutions that Leslie loved, Akiba Academy, Yavneh Academy and the Center for Jewish Education of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas were among her most cherished.

Please join us in honoring Leslie's memory as the CJE proudly presents Rabbi Morey Schwartz, Director of Education of the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Due to limited seating, RSVPs are requested. Parking information is provided in RSVP confirmation.
