On Friday, June 9th, a few hours after our Staff Appreciation Day celebration at Rye Playland, World Cup Staff, Gymnasts, Family, Friends and Community Members all came together for a wonderful night in celebration of Josh Ward. 

We held this dinner for Josh in the hopes of reaching our ultimate goal of raising even more money for Josh's GoFundMe page; we are happy to announce that as of right now we have raised over $40,000 for Josh and his family.  Josh is such a positive light in our gym and we can't wait to have him back home!

On Sunday, June 11th, World Cup hosted its 4th Annual Recreational Super Show!  Rec Staff and Gymnasts alike worked hard all season learning their Rec Level's routines and finally got the opportunity to come together as a program, and show off for their parents!  

The girls performed various routines and skills on the Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor, while the boys performed routines and skills of their own on their apparatuses, Floor, Pommel Horse, Vault, Rings, Parallel Bars and High Bar.  And, of course, everybody got a chance to bounce and flip around on the Tumble Track and Trampoline. 

We are proud to announce that this was our largest Super Show in terms of performers and spectators, so thank you to everyone for coming out and supporting our terrific gymnasts!

On Wednesday, June 14th, World Cup held its annual Team Banquet!  Both the Boys and Girls team members dressed to impress at the event held at the Mount Kisco Holiday Inn.  Gymnasts of every level were recognized by their coaches for their hard work and achievements throughout the season, and two excellent video presentations were made for both teams. 

This was a highly successful season for both of the World Cup Teams and this banquet was our largest ever!
