Annual Youth Bluegill Fishing Derby
Ross County Sportsman & Wildlife Club presents the annual Youth Bluegill Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 24th. This event is for children 15 years of age and under. All participants should register at the Club and be accompanied by an adult at all times. Participants will need to provide their own bait and tackle. Prizes awarded, plaques awarded for biggest and most caught. 
Poker Float
Salt Creek Kayak Adventures presents their second annual Poker Float on Saturday, June 24th. "$15 Buy-In" to the Poker Game played by stopping to pick up cards along the creek. Best hand in the end wins. Grand prizes for top 3 hands. 
Eating Well to Live Well
Explorer Yoga hosts "Eating Well to Live Well" on Saturday, June 24th. Learn about digestive health is an imperative process to our emotional, psychological and spiritual experiences. Mary E. Coleman, ERYT500 and Certified Holistic Health Coach will lead this informational event. 
Yoga in the Park
Join various teachers from Explorer Yoga every Sunday in June & July at Hopewell Culture National Historical Park. Bring along a yoga mat or towel to practice on. This event is free and open to the public and if there is inclement weather, yoga will be held in the visitors center auditorium.
Watoto Children's Hour
The Watoto Children's choir, a group of 18 orphans from Uganda, will continue its six-month U.S. tour this Sunday, June 25th at the Community United Methodist Church in Hallsville. The concert will feature worship songs that share the stories of the children and hope they have because of God's love. This event is free and open to the public.
