One of the most exciting recent developments is we started providing our expertise to both the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. We look forward to continuing to build these relationships. And we are continuing to serve longtime clients such as the Kachina Village Improvement District, and Coconino County.

Chris Dusza Attends Inaugural Meeting with US Army Corps of Engineers
Civiltec Vice President Chris Dusza recently represented the Coconino County Flood Control District at the first Arizona Flood Control District Directors Meeting hosted by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Staff and flood directors from 12 of Arizona's 15 counties met to discuss how each Flood Control District (FCD) could work with the Corps on various types of projects and how Corps engineers could likewise reach out and help the local FCDs.
New Master Plans Delivered for Kachina Village Improvement District
Civiltec recently completed the new Water and Wastewater Master Plans for the Kachina Village Improvement District (KVID). Engineers in Civiltec's Peoria office, with survey support from the Prescott office, completed the two plans in April and May 2017, respectively.
Civiltec Participates in National Conference Call with US Army Corps & EPA
On Monday, June 12, 2017, Vice President Chris Dusza joined voices from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the National Association of Counties (NACo) in discussing an upcoming rewrite of the 2015 "Waters of the U.S." (WOTUS) rule as part of President Trump's executive orders.
New Road Improvement Drainage Analysis for Coconino County
Civiltec has had a long and successful history in working with Coconino County. Recently, the County selected Civiltec to complete an analysis of the off-site drainage that will impact a new road improvement project on Burris Lane.
"I have three kids. My oldest is starting college next year and the other two will be in high school. Between swimming and soccer, they keep my wife and I really busy. Other than that, I like to spend time outdoors fishing, boating, hiking, skiing, and playing golf."
