Amber Woodard graduated with high honors in the top five of her class from Sussex Central High School. She completed her Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration at Southside Virginia Community College as a magna cum laude graduate and member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Currently living in Emporia, Amber is a Quality Assurance Administrator for Strata Solar, which ranks among the top five solar providers in America.
Amber's advice to students is "Keep on pushing yourself. When you feel like giving up, sit back and think why it is that you are trying to accomplish the goals you are trying to accomplish. Never settle for less." She also notes "I enjoyed my time at SVCC. All the professors, advisors, and college staff in general, were more than helpful to me. If you need help, do not hesitate to ask a friend or professor. They are there to help you. Last, but not least, reach for the stars."
