FIFE EASTER EGG HUNTS
FIFE NEWS
COUNCIL APPOINTS LISA McCLELLAN
Fife City Council appointed Lisa McClellan to the vacant Council seat at their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.  McClellan was one of five applicants interviewed during the meeting and will serve on Council in Position Six until a successor is selected and confirmed in either the 2017 Primary or General Election (depending on whether more than one individual runs for office).

Councilmember McClellan is a three year resident of Fife. She has been a member of Fife's Planning Commission since 2016, and was on the Fife Parks & Recreation Advisory Board from 2014 to 2016.

During her interview at Tuesday's meeting, council asked what changes she would like to see made in Fife. McClellan said she would like to see Fife become a place where people can stay, emphasizing the need for more small businesses, a grocery store and restaurants. Welcome, Councilmember McClellan!

NEW GARBAGE CARTS FOR FIFE
Murrey's Customers to Receive New Garbage Carts

New, sturdy and safer garbage carts will be delivered to all Fife Murrey's Disposal customers by mid-Summer. These new carts (as pictured on the right) will replace the old cans and be automatically changed out to reflect your current service level. For example, if you subscribe to one 32 gallon can weekly, you will get the 35-gallon cart.  If you subscribe to two 32 gallon cans weekly, you'll get one 65-gallon cart. Customers will receive a mailed letter detailing the program, along with ways to reuse or recycle your old cans.

Better Service to Customers
Wheeled garbage carts are easy to use, have attached lids and avoid customers having to buy a garbage can.

Aesthetics & Safety
These sturdy, wheeled carts no longer blow over and are uniform in color. Additionally, this helps with worker safety and longevity.

Questions?
Murrey's Disposal encourages customers to email them at MurreysDisposal@wasteconnections.com if they have questions or want to change the size of cart ahead of time.
