The seal coat is looking great.  The final application was completed the last week of July.  The striping is scheduled to start on August 28th and will last around 4 days.

In the meantime, Runway 13/31 will remain closed at night. Additionally, the FAA has taken the ILS/ALS out of service until construction is complete.

As always, we encourage you to be diligent about checking NOTAMs since they can change on an hourly basis!

Landside
The installation of a 12" waterline along Airport Drive is on schedule and moving along nicely.

Two things that are important to know:

1. At no time should the contractor leave an area inaccessible via aircraft. If you alert construction crews of your need to cross an area, they will lay down metal plates. These plates should be left in place when crews leave an area for any period of time.

2. If the contractor accidentally damages existing utilities or any other property, DO NOT authorize repairs as you may be held liable for repair costs. Please contact Airport Management immediately.

The realignment of tower drive is compete and the fencing project is approximately 95% complete. The final gate should be installed within the next few weeks.  Once the final gate is installed the gates will go live.

Gate Codes
Prior to any gates being turned on, the gate code will be shared with all users via email. All gates and users will have the same code.

As a reminder, the purpose of the controlled access is to limit the number of non-pilot drivers operating around aircraft.

For this reason we ask that the code be used by pilots and airport users only and that all visitors and vendors utilize the parking areas outside the fence.

Several pedestrian access points can be found along the fence line.
