Hosted by the beautiful Reservoir Creek Golf Club in Naples, the entry fee for this fun event is $270 PER FOUR-PERSON TEAM and includes golf, cart, range, lunch, tee gift, prizes and hors d'ouerves after the round. Prizes will be awarded to Tournament Low Gross and Low Net teams. Prizes will also be awarded within flights. THE 2017 RDGA PEE WEE CLASSICS BEGIN THIS WEEK!
Parents - do you have kids ages 7-11?
Are they interested in playing golf? The RDGA Pee Wee Classics offer the ONLY opportunity in the Rochester area for both boys and girls to not only PLAY golf with others in their age group - but ALSO to attend a short clinic on the Rules of Golf and etiquette of the game!
The 2017 RDGA Pee Wee Classics - scheduled for Friday, July 7 and Friday, July 21 - each include 9 holes of golf at Buttonwood Golf Course in Spencerport, as well as the clinic, lunch after the round as well as prizes - all for just $15 per golfer, or $30 for both days!
Parents and family members are encouraged to attend the event with their children - and may even caddie for them, if they choose!
To enter, juniors must be between the ages of 7 and 11 by July 31, 2017 AND have a FREE USGA GHIN Handicap provided by the RDGA or an RDGA Member Club...but act fast, REGISTRATION FOR THESE EVENTS CLOSES SOON!

The site of almost 40 years of LPGA women's professional golf, Locust Hill Country Club hosts this year's RDGA Women's and Senior Women's Championships - the Danielle E. Downey Memorial - for the first time, on July 14 and 15.
RDGA Women members: if you have a USGA Handicap Index of 15.0 or lower through the RDGA or an RDGA Member Club - this is your LAST CHANCE to enter the 2017 RDGA Women's Championship Danielle E. Downey Memorial

RDGA CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIERS
SEND 78 to 2017 DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP
EVENTS AT MENDON, DEERFIELD,
ADD TO 116-PLAYER FIELD FOR
RYAN MEMORIAL AT LOCUST HILL
The RDGA conducted two 1-day, 18-hole qualifiers - on June 21 at Mendon Golf Club, above, and on June 24 at Deerfield Golf & Country Club - which sent 78 golfers to the starting field of the 2017 RDGA District Championship at Locust Hill Country Club on July 12-15.

osted by Mendon Golf Club. The top 45 players in a starting field of 100 qualified for the 2017 District Championship John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial, which will be held at Locust Hill Country Club on July 12-15.
Three players tied for Qualifying Medalist at Mendon with scores of even-par 71, including: Nicholas Rencis of host Mendon GC, Gavin Simon of Locust Hill and James Tee of the RDGA eClub.

osted by Deerfield Golf & Country Club, where the top 33 players in a starting field of 72 qualified for the Ryan Memorial.
The Qualifying Medalist at Deerfield, with a score of 1-over-par 73, was Roberts Wesleyan sophomore Andrew Fedele of Ridgemont Country Club. Brandon Cox finished second at 74 and Jake Roberts was third at 75.
The 78 players who advanced through the qualifiers at Deerfield and Mendon will join those players exempt from qualifying to form the starting field in the
2017 RDGA District Championship
at Locust Hill

DEADLINE for U.S. SENIOR AMATEUR
SECTIONAL QUALIFIER AT BLUE HERON HILLS IS JULY 12
The next Rochester-area USGA Championship Qualifier on the 2017 schedule - the U.S. Senior Amateur Sectional Qualifier - will be hosted by the Golf Club at Blue Heron Hills on Monday, July 24. The application deadline for anyone wishing to qualify for the 2017 U.S. Senior Amateur is coming up on Wednesday, July 12. The U.S. Senior Amateur Sectional Qualifier is a one day, 18-hole stroke play competition
