I wrote my latest BLOG piece for numerologist.com on the suffering caused by the illusion that somehow you (and me) are not good enough - not good enough to succeed, not good enough to deserve financial abundance, not good enough to warrant the love you so desire, not good enough as a writer, artist, dancer, singer, accountant, nurse . . . . Fill in the blank.
I am sharing that piece again here this week as this subject continues to come up in conversations with friends, colleagues and even with the tiniest members of my family. It seems the "not good enoughs" start early even when there is ample love and encouragement in the home.
And once they have taken root, they are as difficult to pull out as any parasitic vine that might choke the path of growth of a blossoming tree. With the little ones there is time to pull out the "not good enoughs" and restore the path of love, self-confidence and self-worth. But as an adult those roots are deeper, more solidly entrenched and more difficult to extract and heal.
Ultimately the place of being "ENOUGH" is a healed state. It is a state of alignment with the true core of your being. It is acknowledgement of self as an unparalleled expression of creative energy. It is what we often refer to as self-love or self-esteem.
So this week I invite you to read my piece at numerologist.com and consider stepping into ENOUGH.
Just click the link here. And, if you have a moment perhaps share in the comments your own struggles with the "not good enoughs." When any one person shares, all are lifted up.
Wishing you a beautiful week of love and light,
Cathleen
