Miami-based Plaza Health Network centers receive national recognition 
Plaza Health Network's seven rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers recognized, accredited for standards of excellence by Providigm

Plaza Health Network's seven rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers (all located in Miami-Dade County) have each been recognized by Providigm, a national health care quality assessment system, for the outstanding level of care provided to patients. Four Plaza Health Network centers - Arch Plaza, Ponce Plaza, South Pointe Plaza and Sinai Plaza - have received Advanced Quality Assurance & Performance (QAPI) Accreditation. Only 54 centers throughout Florida - and seven in South Florida- received this advanced level of accreditation. Three Plaza Health Network centers - Aventura Plaza, Jackson Plaza and University Plaza- have also been awarded the 2017 Providigm Basic QAPI Accreditation. Only 13 centers in Florida - and four in South Florida - were recognized with this level of accreditation.   Based in Dania Beach, the South Florida Healthcare Executive Forum (SFHEF) serves healthcare professionals in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties plus the Treasure Coast. The SFHEF is the local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and currently boasts over 800 members.

Haroula Protopapadakis was born and raised in South Florida. Growing up her mother worked in healthcare, and she always wanted to emulate that and also have a career in healthcare. Haroula attended Nova Southeastern University where she received a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare. Haroula is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Haroula began her career in healthcare when she was in college working at Memorial Regional Hospital in the Admitting and Registration Dept. She then worked in the pharmaceutical sales industry. Haroula returned to the Memorial system working as the Director of Business Development and Physician Relations for Memorial South, Memorial Rehabilitation Institute, and then Memorial Regional Hospital for several years before being promoted to her current role as the Associate Administrator of Memorial Regional Hospital. In this role she oversees many support departments in the facility including security, telecommunications, central services, transportation, food and nutrition services, environmental services, volunteer services, valet and parking, the fitness center, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, and patient and family centered care. She also oversees the Division of Neurosciences for the healthcare system.
