Getting Ready for Spring!
Spring is finally here at the farm and we could not be more excited! It has been a long, chilly winter and the Primrose farmers and animals are ready to kick off the spring season with some very exciting events and programs. Join us in April as we kick of the season with our annual event, Springtime on the Farm! This event is the perfect opportunity for young families and newcomers to meet our furry friends and get a taste of what farming is all about. There are plenty of activities to participate in such as animal meet and greets, crafts, gardening and so much more. The event is free, so make sure to mark your calendars for April 7!

If you can't seem to get enough of the adorable animals at  Springtime on the Farm, consider joining us in May for our brand new program Animal Sweets and Treats. This program will bring you up close and personal with our animal residents, as we create delicious and healthy treats to feed our farm animals. After preparing and handing out our treats to the Primrose animals, we will send you out with some homemade puppy or cat treats plus recipes so you can take the fun back home to your furry friends. Make sure to register online to reserve your spot.

If you are looking for something more hands-on, you may be interested in one of our brand new drop-in programs: Feed the Goats or Feed the Chickens! Stop by the Primrose farm office to pick up a feeding stick and some feed and we will send you on your way. Our goats and chickens are extremely friendly and are happy to come up and great our visitors. Registration is not required, but make sure to check our website or call in advance for feeding hours. We can't wait to see you there!

Of course with the temperatures rising, that also means the chickens are laying eggs faster than ever! Stop by the farm while you still can for our half priced egg sale. We are selling a dozen farm fresh eggs for only $2.50. All the eggs collected and sold have been collected within days of purchase, so they are as fresh as they come. The sale ends March 15.

Whether you have been with us for years or you are visiting the farm for the first time, we cannot thank our visitors enough for their generosity and kindness. Without all of you, Primrose Farm would not be the lively and family friendly destination that it is today. We can't wait to celebrate the new season with you.
