Michael Williams, ’78, used the 2018 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation and Community Celebration to remind his audience to not simply listen to what others have to say. In his keynote address at the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Dialogue and Service, Skot Welch, ’90, encouraged students to volunteer to build community. "To not volunteer, to not serve somebody else in some way, is a small life," he said. "How are you doing to make people belong?" Wesley Arden Dick Reflects on FYS Holocaust Remembrance Day Experience
In 2005, the United Nations declared January 27 Holocaust Remembrance Day, the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp in 1945 by the Soviet army. Larry Steinhauer, E&M and Honors Program Stalwart and Leader, Passes Away
Larry Steinhauer, professor emeritus of economics and management, passed away on Christmas Day at his home in Albion, at the age of 75. "Dr. Steinhauer was a friend and mentor who opened my eyes to a world of possibilities that I didn’t know existed," says Marty Nesbitt, ’85. Learn more…
