"Building a firm foundation through Christ-centered education"
Celebrating MCS Students
During this week, teachers had the privilege of blessing each student with words of affirmation relating to a particular Character Quality. In Mrs. Gordon's 4th grade class, students were invited to creatively break dance, walk dance, or squiggly dance down the "Red Carpet" in celebration of 2016-2017. It was great seeing so many parents on campus.
We are Grateful for YOU!
It is our privilege to serve students and families every day, in and out of the classroom, through innovative academic programs that challenge their minds, shape their character, and capture their hearts. This is only possible with our parents' amazing and generous support of the MCS mission!
Our Board, Faculty, Staff, and Students would like to extend an extra-special THANK YOU to those who partnered with us through giving this year. Your sacrificial and intentional support provided MCS with over $850,000 in program funding, a vital component of MCS's ability to grow and expand in all areas including STEM, Maker Education, Financial Aid, Teacher Professional Growth, Campus Upgrades, and Extra-curricular Programs!
Please enjoy a special video message for YOU, sent with our most heartfelt appreciation.
Thank You for Your Feedback!
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback by completing the 2016-2017 Parent Survey. We are at over 90% PARTICIPATION.
Congratulations goes to:
Madison Laskey and the Lawrence children (Kannon, Kingston, and Liberty) for winning the Nintendo Switch Gaming Systems and to Mrs. Collier's 5th grade class for winning the one hour of jumping at Sky High with Mr. Moore and their teacher!

Teacher of the Day Photo Gallery
Mini Teachers and Administrators ruled the school. Students cheered when HOS Mr. Brewster made an important announcement giving them less homework.
They enjoyed their morning donuts and hot chocolate, they presented chapels, they taught, they welcomed the class, led pledges, made important phone calls, directed traffic, and most importantly they created memories to last a lifetime. Enjoy the below photo gallery.

All students increased the amount of books they read since last year! Some students went from reading 1-2 books a year to reading 15-20 books this year! They have so much to be proud of! Friends on Shalimar Drive
This past Friday, a handful of middle schoolers visited our neighbors on Shalimar Drive for the last time this school-year. It was a joy to see students from MCS, Rock Harbor youth group, and kids from the community interact and share life with one another. Students led a craft making maracas, played games, and rounded out our little fiesta with a piñata. It was great fun! Students participated with grace, joy, love, generosity, and life while continuing to build relationships with our neighbors. We're truly grateful for the opportunity to get to know and engage our friends on Shalimar Drive!
