PJ Our Way, the next chapter of PJ Library for kids ages 8.5 to 11 years old, has its own design team that is made up of a select group of kids who work together to create content for the PJ Our Way website. See what parents had to say about this unique experience for their tweens.
Hello PJ Families!

I want to start off thanking each of you for your loyal readership and participation in PJ Library. As with many things, change happens sometimes faster than we can keep up with, and so is the case with our local PJ Library leadership. Ruth Horton has decided to pursue other interests and will no longer be our PJ Library Coordinator. We are grateful for the time, energy and dedication Ruth gave to PJ Library and wish her the best of luck in the future.

PJ Library programming is always slower during the summer months, especially now during this time of transition. However, if there is something that you would like to see, please let us know. We will also send an email throughout the summer regarding any new programming opportunities. Remember to check our PJ Library Rhode Island Facebook page as well for reminders. Rest assured, your child will continue to receive books over the summer months.

If you haven't already made plans for your child this summer, it is not too late to register for J-Camp at the Dwares JCC. We provide a variety of excellent opportunities for children ages 3 to 15 to make the most of their summer vacation including:
  • Lunch and snacks provided daily
  • Coordinated Judaic themes that focus on universal human values
  • Swim lessons for all campers
  • Weekly field trips & special visitors
  • Lots of outdoor play
  • Activities including art, cooking, sports, science & nature, acting, travel and more!
Here's to an exciting summer filled with books, camp, friends, and adventure!

Shalom,

Michelle Cicchitelli
