Brontosaurus
The Brontosaurus is one of the most iconic dinosaurs. The term Brontosaurus means thunder lizard. The Brontosaurus was a large, long-necked animal with a long tail. It is believed the animals measured up to 72 feet long from head to tail!

Tyrannosaurus rex, or T. rex, comes from Greek and Latin words meaning "tyrant lizard king." It was a large, fierce, and carnivorous dinosaur that lived in North America 85 to 65 million years ago. T. rex could eat up to pounds of meat and bones in one bite!

The triceratops roamed what is now North America millions of years ago. The term triceratops means three-horned face, making it one of the most recognizable dinosaurs. The modern rhinoceros has striking similarities to the triceratops, both have large bony frill, three horns and four-legged body.
