Greetings!
As I discussed in my message to you last week, future marijuana sales in Pacifica will be on the
agenda at Monday night’s City Council meeting. The Council will consider an ordinance that, if enacted, would allow for retail sales early next year. In addition, your local elected officials will consider whether to place an excise measure on the ballot this November. Everyone is invited to participate in the public process.
You can also be a part of the process by being a member of one of your committees or commissions. There are currently openings to apply for on the Planning Commission, Beautification Advisory Committee and the Parks, Beaches & Recreation Commission. Deadlines to apply are fast approaching. Contact the City Clerk’s Office or get an
application on the City website.

The July 4th holiday will soon be upon us. It is our goal for the community to have a fun, safe and clean July 4th celebration this year. See the Pacifica

The City of Pacifica has adopted an Illegal Fireworks Social Host Ordinance with a $1,000 fine for persons who host gatherings or allow discharge of illegal fireworks on their property. See the

- Palmetto Streetscape Groundbreaking Ceremony - Come join us as we celebrate the groundbreaking of the Palmetto Streetscape Project, Phase 1 at the corner of Montecito Ave. and Palmetto Ave. at 10:00am this Saturday, June 24. Construction is underway to begin to realize the long-time vision for the Palmetto Main Street concept to enhance the area for pedestrians, bicyclists and visitor to businesses in the Sharp Park neighborhood. - Taste of Pacifica Showcases Sips & Bites from Local Restaurants in One Location This Saturday - The Pacifica Chamber of Commerce presents its annual Taste of Pacifica event at the Moose Lodge on Saturday, June 24, showcasing 25 Pacifica food vendors in one location from noon to 3:00pm. - 43rd Annual 4th of July Celebration at Frontierland Park - The City of Pacifica Parks, Beaches & Recreation Department brings fun for the whole family to Frontierland Park on Tuesday, July 4th from 11:00am to 4:00pm at its annual 4th of July celebration. Enjoy live music, food, free games and more!
