Down to Earth Farmer's Market  is  Saturday  from 830am - 1pm at Market Square. This week, look for sweet peas, snow peas and shelling peas. They're all in season and best before the heat of summer hits. Garlic scapes have started to appear and you'll still see strawberries too. Our farmers have been busy and it's just the beginning! Wondering how to grow more, grow better and welcome native bees to your own garden? Come talk to Master Gardener Mary Patrzalek from Cornell Cooperative Extension. Remember to bring old clothes, bedding, and other textiles to drop off with Greentree Textiles.  Don't forget your recycled bags!! www.downtoearthmarkets.com

The Ossining Arts Council welcomes the return of The Vibe Theory to the Steamer Firehouse Gallery. Channeling the  likes of The Meters, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, John Scofield, D'Angelo and The Derek Trucks Band, The Vibe Theory draws both musically and stylistically from these masters while creating something uniquely their own - a danceable melange of funk-driven grooves, afro-cuban rhythms, R&B melodies, and jazz stylings.  Friday, June 23rd @8pm. Tickets $15 at the door.  www.ossiningartscouncil.org

Coming Wednesday, June 28 at Six Degrees of Separation Brewery, trivia night and the launch of Bell's Whiskey Barrel Porter.
