Best Years Let's Go to the Movies!
All those who want to be part of our Best Years group, join us on Thursday February 22 as we meet at the Del Monte Cinema to enjoy a great movie (your pick) on the big screen! We will gather in front of the theater at 1:00 PM and have a choice of a least a couple of movies to attend. After the movies have ended we will regather across the street at Cold Stone for a little ice cream dessert! Because of our CBI Senior Endowment Fund the movie and ice cream is
FREE!

Opening Night is March 3 at Carmel High School Center for the Performing Arts.
The CHS Jazz Septet will perform during the reception, and Robert Philipson, director of Body & Soul: An American Bridge will answer questions following the film.

JEWISH FOOD FESTIVAL MEETING
February 21st, 7pm at CBI
Its time to start planning for the 31st Annual Jewish Food Festival. The date has been set: July 29th, 2018
We are excited about this years Food Festival and are calling on our members and friends of CBI to help us make this the best one ever!
There is a job for everyone. From dolloping sour cream to building the village - please considered getting involved in some way.
We are meeting Thursday, February 15th at 7:00 PM. Please attend and bring your ideas, your love of our culture and a willingness to be a part of this wonderful community event.

Adult Education Program - "Charities and Charitable Giving"
Febuary 22nd, 7:30 to 9:00 PM This is always an interesting topic, but it is now important, in light of the newly passed tax code.
Three members of our Congregation - Lori Silver, Eugene Ganeles, and Yvonne Ascher have much experience on these topics each of them will speak for 10-15 minutes on a personal specialty followed by 45-60 minutes of Q & A.

If you are interested in applying for a CBI Merit College Scholarship Now is the time to get started. Applications are available in your high school career center, at the CBI office, or on the CBI website. Be sure to read the criteria for selection carefully. The deadline for completed applications is Wednesday, April 18, 2018, 4:00 PM.
