Bridge of Life Empowers Community Health Workers with New Program
In April, Bridge of Life (BOL) kicked off a new program designed to train community health workers Two partnering health directors are leading the program in their respective communities:  Dr. Peter Pierrot with Double Harvest Clinic in Haiti and Dr. Luis O'Campo with Susie Syke Clinic in Nicaragua.

"Going into this, I knew the program was going to be good," said Dr. Pierrot.  "But what captivated me the most was how the CHWs embraced it and how enthusiastic they were."

BOL is thrilled to see the progress this program is making and how motivated the participants are. The CHWs that Dr. Pierrot is working with in Haiti have even established their own motto: "L'union fait la force" - "Unity makes strength!"
