Cooking4HOPE

The Bible as Literature
led by Rabbi Daniel Reiser

Rabbi Reiser will guide us in studying the Book of Jonah and the Book of Esther, with an eye towards their literary characters and to discover the complexities of motive and ambiguities of each that are essential not only to good literature, but to the human experience. Next class is March 6. 

Kickboxing with Omer
Wednesday, February 28 at 9:30 am
Enjoy a weekly workout of Israeli-style kickboxing, while listening to Israeli music and learning some Hebrew. All are welcome. Requires comfortable clothing and sneakers to work out in. No registration required. 

Purim Celebration!
Not The Same Old Megillah: 
A Night of Improv Comedy with Upright Citizens Brigade
Wednesday, February 28 at 7:00 pm
Celebrate Purim uproariously with top-flight comedians from one of the world's most famous improv troupes! Audience and clergy participation will make this a Purim night to remember. Coming in costume makes you eligible to win a prize. This event is "PG-13" and is recommended for all adults and teens.  The event will feature refreshments and is open to the community. 


Community Shabbat Service 
with Dinner for Sharing Shabbat Alumni
Friday, March 2 at 6:15 pm
Sharing Shabbat Alumni adults are invited to an interactive Erev Shabbat service, followed by an adult dinner and discussion in the CJL. All current Sharing Shabbat adults are encouraged to attend as well.
 
There will be no charge for this event, but please bring some wine for the kiddush blessing and for your enjoyment during the Shabbat dinner.

Book of WRT Memories
In conjunction with The WRT Homecoming Celebration and to commemorate WRT turning 65, we are creating a Book of WRT Memories and invite you to be part of this exciting project.The deadline for submissions has been extended to February 28, 2018  Click here for more details.

Monthly Mitzvah for February - Baby Items
Kids Kloset is in need of layette items - clothing 0-12 months,  towels/receiving blankets, diaper bags, diapers, infant books, toys (1 year and under) and strollers [please no car seats]. AFYA Foundation is also looking for baby blankets, baby hats, rain ponchos and boots for midwives. These items can be brought to the donation bins near the WRT security desk.


Weekly Fridays 9:15 am - 10:15 am
Tiny Tots Playgroup & Shabbat
A drop -in playgroup for babies and toddlers, along with their moms, dads, caregivers or loved ones.  Children and adults celebrate Shabbat together at  9:30 am.  Singing, playing, challah & mingling.  Open to the community and  no charge.


ECC Summer Play Place
The 7 week Summer Play Place camp has on going registration for Toddlers through 4 years-old. Please email [email protected] for information.
