This DIY workshop will show you hands-on how to install drip irrigation in your landscape beds and raised-bed boxes. Meet at the USU Kaysville building, but come dressed for an outdoor demonstration, weather permitting.
  

Explore the Garden Family Night: Botanical Art

Let the gardens inspire your inner creativity and come for a beginner lesson in botanical art done in water colors. All supplies will be provided and there will be projects for kids and adults.

Learn how to evaluate the efficiency of your sprinkler system, identify maintenance issues, and create an irrigation schedule customized to your yard while reducing landscape water use, reducing your bills, and keeping your plants healthy.

Aggie Adventure Camps

From wilderness art and water wonders, garden gnomes, fairies, and fantastic beasts at the USU Botanical Center to sewing, soil science and photography at Ogden Botanical Gardens, we've got an Aggie Adventure for you! Each Aggie Adventure camp is full of fun, hands-on activities; participants are sure to have a blast! Camps are for children ages 5 and up.
 

4-H Fishing Camp at USU Botanical Center

June 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28
6 - 8 p.m.

Youth Fishing Camp at the USU Botanical Center is a great opportunity for local children ages 8-12 to learn how to fish in a safe, friendly environment. We provide all of the necessary equipment, but you can also bring your own. Each day starts with a 30-minute lesson, followed by an hour and a half of fishing.


Weber County Junior Master Gardener Program

June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, July 13, 20, 27        
10 - 11:30 a.m.

Weber County Extension is offering a Junior Master Gardener Club for 4-H members. Junior Master Gardeners will enjoy fun, hands-on gardening skills at the Ogden Botanical Garden. Families of Junior Master Gardeners will also receive a discount on family memberships at the Ogden Botanical Garden.

To participate, first go to ut.4honline.com and register for 4-H. The $10 4-H fee can be paid online with a credit card, or by calling the 4-H office. Cloverbuds are also welcome in the club. For questions, call: 801-399-8202.
