Current Liabilities

Current Liabilities are your debts or obligations that are due within one year, which may include accounts payable, accrued interest, current portion of long term and intermediate debts, outstanding tax obligations. It is important to compare your list of liabilities with your assets. More than likely if you have a liability there should be an offsetting asset. Example; accounts payable for seed should also be listed as either investment in growing crop, crops on hand or a prepaid, unless it was for last year's crop that has been harvested and sold.
