"Let's Do Lunch" with Dean Goodman on April 28

Rutgers Day logo The popular tradition of "Let's Do Lunch with the Executive Dean" at Rutgers Day/Ag Field Day will take place this year in a new, elegant venue - the Ludwig Global Learning Center on Jameson Quad on the Douglass campus. Plan to join us from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018.

All School alumni, retired faculty, and their families are invited to join Executive Dean Bob Goodman and many of our active faculty to see this outstanding new facility and enjoy a tasty barbecue lunch. The event is free, but registration is strongly suggested.

The Ludwig Global Leaning Center is the newest building on the Cook/Douglass campus. It is located at 9 Suydam Street at the corner of Nichol Avenue, tucked neatly behind the original buildings of the Jameson Quad. Guests will enjoy seating in the indoor Schonberg Room or on the patio outside the center. Tours of the public areas of this grand new building - built with a gift from alumna Kathleen DC'75 and spouse Edward Ludwig - will be available.
Have You Registered for the Big Ten Event in DC?

Please join your fellow alumni from Rutgers and other Big Ten schools, deans, and directors at the annual Big Ten Ag Alumni Reception on March 5, 2018, at the National Invitation Logo Press Club, 529 14th Street, NW in the heart of DC. The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. and will feature a buffet of favorite savories and an open bar. This year the Executive Director of the Big Ten Academic Alliance (the non-sports division of the Big Ten) will tell us about the inter-institutional programs enjoyed collectively by our Big Ten schools. This is an opportunity to learn how our schools work together for the benefit of all. The event fee is $25 to help defray expenses, and registration is open until Monday, February 26, 2018, at bit.ly/agbigten. See you in Washington!

IFNH Building Makes List of 25 "Must-See" Places

As one of the few contemporary structures on the 25 Must-See buildings in New IFNH Building Jersey, the striking home of the Institute for Food, Nutrition, and Health (IFNH) on the George H. Cook campus stands out.

The building was selected by the New Jersey chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in a survey initiated by USA Today Travel, which asked AIA chapters across the country to name the top 25 structures visitors should see in their states. Read more in the Newsroom about the survey, the IFNH building and the work performed by the Institute.
